8 Days Private Luxury Camel Trekking

Early breakfast and after which we travel to Zagora, stopping in Ouarzazate , visit Kasbah Ait
Benhaddou, a UNESCO a human heritage site. Lunch at the base of the Kasbah and then on the way to
Zagora passing through the Pass Ait Saoune, finally a long descent into the famous Draa Valley with its
200 km of date palms, which are harvested in October. At we discover at Agdez beautiful landscapes,
including the the ksars, fortified villages.
We meet our camel and after after loading the camels we cross the dunes of Ouladriss to reach to the
big dunes of Erg Lihoudi. We will spend the first night under the starsand enjoy the ambiance that
accompanies the experience.

Depart from of Erg Lihoudi with our camel caravan. After about three hours of walking, our friendly
guides prepare an excellent lunch that we will enjoy in the shad of tamarisks and acacias trees. At the
end of the afternoon, we arrive in the Golden Dunes of Oued Naamwhere we shall camp not far from a
well where nomads gather with their herds of animals.At nightfall, everyone sits around a campfire ,
eats traditional bread baked in the sand, and sings sahraoui songs etc.

An early breakfast is followed by preparing the camels and travelling to Bourgane where there are many
fossils.
We set up camp and prepare for the evening which includes the preparation of the bread by baking it in
the sand. The bread is part of our meal around the camp fire. We will sleep under the stars in nomad
tents.

We depart in the morning to travel to the big dunes of CHEGAGA. We arrive at Chegaga where we will
savour the the grandiose landscape, which is the most impressive whole the Sahara Desert in Morocco.
We will spend two days at ERG CHEGAGA where the free time spent will allow you time to enjoy the
rhythm of the desert.

Under the supervision of our cook, you will have an opportunity to prepare local meals using the tajine.
There will also be an opportunity to walk under the moonlight and to get together for tea around the
campfire.

Wake up very early in the desert,Free time spent in Berber tents already pitched with comfortable
mattresses and water.
In the afternoon, we walk either by foot or with camels to visit the oasis near CHEGAGA .

We return for some free time followed by a traditional Berber evening with dancing

A morning departure ,after breakfast in a 4X4 vehicle to Zagora. We leave the desert by 4X4, stopping in
TAMEGROUTE, the village of potters, after which we visit Medersa, the home of the Koranic school.
Finally, we we travel to Zagora.
We have a free afternoon, relaxing at the pool or visiting ZAGORA.

Dinner and overnight stay will be spent at a hotel or riad.

Departure from ZAGORA to OUARZAZATE or MARRAKECH via the Draa Valley. Visit the Kasbah
Aitbenhaddou, a UNESCO human heritage site. Lunch at the base of the Kasbah.
Airport transfer.
