Arrival at Fes Airport, transfer by bus and check in to a charming riad.
Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.
Guided tour of the old town (cultural heritage of UNESCO), historical sightseeing
After breakfast, drive through the cedars forest in Azrou where you will see the monkeys
then drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your
way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages, After lunch
continue Driving through typical landscapes to Imilchil, a small Berber village in the heart of
the Middle Atlas. Overnight stay close to the mountain lake of Imilchil.
Driving through the High Atlas ; having lunch at the gorges of Tinerhir ; visit of the gorges of
Dadès. Overnight in Ouarzazate, a pleasant desert town and « capital » of the South of
Morocco.
Driving into the deep desert to the bivaq Chigaga, located in the middle of the big dunes
called «ocean of sand ». Overnight stay in typical Berber tents or under the stars. Enjoy a
delicious surprise dinner.
Driving through the desert to M’Hamid ; the last village at the door of the desert. Driving
through typical Berber villages to Zagora, a beautiful small town at the door of the desert.
Having lunch, relax and stay overnight in Riad
Afternoon: Visit the jewish Kasbah followed by a panoramic view of Zagora and the desert
on the top of a mountain. Upon return, time for shopping and drinking tea.
Driving through the amazing palm tree valley of « Draa » famous for the numerous
traditional kasbahs (fortress). Visit of the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou (cultural heritage of
UNESCO). Cross the pass of Tichka (high Atlas).
Overnight stay in a typical Riad.
