Arrival at Marrakech airport. Transfer to a charming hotel or Riad Where
dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Marrakech. Known as the
"Pearl of the South," is an oasis in south western Morocco at the foot of the Atlas
Mountains, with rose-colored ramparts and a thousand year old palm grove
Drive from Marrakech towards the UNESCO Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Eventually traverse
the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass (2260m).
After Lunch near Ait Ben haddou Kasbah, its the time to driving through the amazing palm tree
valley of « Draa » famous for the numerous traditional Kasbahs (kind of fortress) to Zagora, a
beautiful small town at the door of the desert.
Overnight stay in Riad.
Afternoon: driving with 4x4 wheel drive 90 km towards Erglihudi camp.
Overnight stay in typical Berber tents or under the stars
Walk towards Oued Nam (across small dunes, hills) and overnight stay in Bertam
Morning: walking towards Bougern. Lunch on the road.
Overnight at Bougern (tent in the middle of the dunes)
Walking towards Ergsmar (small dunes)
Walk towards Chigaga, located in the middle of the big dunes called «ocean of sand »
Leaving the big dunes, walking towards the mountains
Overnight in the mountains, close to the small river “Imi n Oued Lamhasar”
Walk in the mountains and overnight stay close to the mountain river Diabi
Walk in the mountains and overnight stay at Oumlashar
Descending the mountains, walking towards the small dunes to Bougniba
Overnight in Bougniba
After lunch pick-up by 4x4 and driving back to Zagora
Overnight stay in a charming Riad After a traditional Moroccan Hamam
Departure from Zagora, lunch in Ait Aourire Kasbah
Continue toward Tizi N Tichka pass. Overnight stay in a charming Riad.
Transfer to the Airport in time for your flight home - have a safe travel!
