Your journey begins early in the morning as you leave Marrakech and head towards the High Atlas Mountains. This fortified village, with its traditional clay architecture and winding alleys, is a historical and cinematic treasure, having served as the backdrop for many renowned films. After exploring the site, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, the journey continues as you descend into the lush Draa Valley, known for its sprawling palm groves and traditional kasbahs. By late afternoon, you will arrive in Zagora, a peaceful oasis town. After settling into your guesthouse, you can relax by the pool or take a walk to discover the town’s historic kasbahs and immerse yourself in the local culture.

Start your day with breakfast at the guesthouse before embarking on a guided visit to the Jewish Quarter of Amzerou, where you’ll learn about the rich history of this community and explore the surrounding palm groves. Next, you’ll head to the nearby village of Tamgroute, famous for its historic Quranic library, home to ancient manuscripts, and its fascinating underground kasbahs.

Afterwards, you’ll travel to Mhamid, known as the "gateway to the desert," where a picnic lunch awaits you. From here, the adventure truly begins as you go off-road in a 4x4 vehicle, crossing dramatic desert landscapes to reach the majestic Chegaga dunes. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed into a traditional Berber camp, where you can settle into your tent and enjoy the tranquil desert surroundings. As evening falls, you’ll savor a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starlit sky before relaxing by the campfire.

Later, you’ll embark on a camel ride through the towering dunes of Chegaga, an unforgettable experience that allows you to fully appreciate the vastness and beauty of the desert. After the ride, you’ll have time to explore the dunes on foot, relax at the camp, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara.

In the evening, you’ll return to the camp for another traditional dinner, followed by a lively evening of Berber music around the campfire. The clear desert sky, filled with countless stars, will provide the perfect ending to this magical day.
